Fatal Accident in La Mesa Freeway Crash

One person was killed and two others suffered injures last Wednesday evening involving a 2007 Dodge Caliber, KGTV San Diego reports. According to California Highway Patrol officials, the Dodge “entered the transition road at an unsafe speed. This caused the left front of the Dodge to impact a concrete retaining wall along the north road edge of the transition road and subsequently roll over.”

Tragically, the driver of the vehicle died at the scene of the accident. Firefighters and good samaritans were able to help the other victims out, as they were trapped. The cause of this accident is still under investigation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and the victims.
